Come be a part of our organization!

We are working on defining this project and the plans for the space.  If you have great ideas, want to be involved or just want to be kept in the loop on our project as it evolves, please consider filling out the participant interest form.  We also welcome advisors and partner organization at any level of participation.

“For a community to be whole and healthy, it must be based on people’s love and concern for each other.”
-Millard Fuller, founder of Habitat for Humanity

We want this project to be defined by the community members that are interested in being the most heavily involved in this project.  We believe in consensus decision making and are researching the best practices from other successful cohousing models to serve as the initial group structure. This initial structure can be changed as the group more fully forms.

Our goal is to have a diverse community of singles and families. We also see an opportunity to be an example of a sustainable urban community and intend to be a demonstration project that others may duplicate.

We need skilled participants who can contribute in the following roles:

  • grant writer
  • networker
  • business planner
  • community development
  • permaculture enthusiast
  • green builder
  • solar energy
  • web design
  • artist
